Creating A Service For Booking
The Create New Service page lets you define a new service that clients can book through your FaddishBooking system. Here you set the service name, pricing, duration, appearance, and booking rules.
Basic service details
Service Name: Required name that appears to clients on the booking page and in your internal lists.
Category (optional): Assign the service to a category to keep your services organized; categories are managed from the main Services page.
Service Image: Upload or drag‑and‑drop a PNG, JPG, or GIF up to 2MB; this image is shown on the booking page.
Description: Short description of the service that is visible to clients when they view or select the service.
Booking type, duration, and capacity
Booking Type: Choose how the service is booked:
Duration Based – Book by time slots (for example, 30 minutes, 1 hour).
Day Range Based – Book by days (for example, multi‑day rentals or services).
Duration (minutes): Required for duration‑based services; defines how long each appointment lasts (minimum 5 minutes).
Capacity (optional): Maximum number of bookings allowed in the same time slot; leave empty for unlimited capacity.
Pricing and currency
Currency: Select the currency used for this service’s bookings and payments (options include USD and multiple Caribbean and regional currencies).
Price: Required base price for the service that is used when clients book.
Optional extras and form fields
Service Extras (Optional): Add optional extras or add‑ons that clients can choose during booking to increase value or customize the service.
Additional Form Fields (Optional): Add custom fields (text inputs, dropdowns, file uploads, etc.) to collect extra information from clients when they book this service.
Service color and saving
Service Color: Choose a color (Indigo, Emerald, Amber, Red, Violet, Pink) to visually identify this service on the booking calendar.
Use Cancel to discard changes and return to the Services list, or Create Service to save the new service and make it available for booking.
