Configure Mailchimp
What this integration does
When enabled, Faddishbuilder sends new client portal registrations to your Mailchimp account so you can add them to a list, start automations, or tag them.
You stay in one place to manage registrations while Mailchimp handles email campaigns and sequences.
Get your Mailchimp API key
Log in to your Mailchimp account at mailchimp.com.
Click your profile avatar in the top‑right, then choose “Profile” or “Account & billing”.
Go to the “Extras” menu and click “API keys”.
Under “Your API keys”, click “Create A Key” (or “Create key”), then give it a label like “Faddishbuilder Integration”.
Copy the long API key value that appears; keep it private, like a password.
Find your Mailchimp server prefix
You can get the server prefix in two ways:
From the URL when you are logged into Mailchimp, it will look like https://us19.admin.mailchimp.com/—here us19 is your server prefix.
Or from the API key itself: if the key looks like abcd1234-us19, the part after the dash (us19) is your server prefix.
In Faddishbuilder’s Mailchimp settings, you only enter the us19 part (your value may be us1, us10, etc.).
Configure Mailchimp in Faddishbuilder
In Faddishbuilder, go to Settings → External Integrations.
Click “Mailchimp” in the list of External Integrations so the configuration panel opens on the right.
Check “Enable Mailchimp Integration”.
In API Key, paste the API key you copied from Mailchimp (Profile → Extras → API keys).
In Server Prefix, enter only the prefix (for example, from abc123-us1 you would type just us1).
Click “Save” to activate the connection.
Once saved, Faddishbuilder will be able to sync client portal registrations with your Mailchimp lists according to how you’ve wired that integration in your app logic.
